Localisation firm Altagram has issued an apology after it emerged that a number of the employees who contributed to Baldur’s Gate 3 translation had not been credited.
In a post on Twitter, the agency stated that it takes full duty for leaving out freelancers who helped with the projected. Altagram went on to detail seven key policies it’s going to be sticking to in future to make sure that employees are appropriately credited.
Phrase that Baldur’s Gate 3 credit have been incomplete emerged after localiser Marc EG posted on Twitter concerning the work of some translators lacking. As reported by Eurogamer, the sport’s developer Larian Studios blamed Altagram, including that it has “compelled them to repair this”.
“We take full duty for the omissions of our freelancers’ names and apologise for the consequences that it had,” Altagram wrote.
“We’re studying from this expertise and are reviewing the failures of our inner processes relating to credit. We want to thank Larian for permitting us to rapidly repair that error and replace the credit part. The names of the Brazilian Portuguese translators will likely be included in an upcoming patch to the sport.”
